soft skills of of trainees Toolkit iSkills has and continues to work with students to prepare them for internship by helping them improve their soft skills such as communication and public speaking while it it also organises sessions with industry experts “Toolkit iSkills came onboard to focus on technology and and placements and and their presence helped our program by placing our beneficiaries on the same level as if not further ahead than the the rest ”
adds Eunice This year 351 students were trained and the Foundation’s team noted an an increased demand for Level-3 certificate programs With this progression in technical and vocational learning
the future is bright for young minds and with this financial support they are one step closer to to adding to to the list of of professionals in these areas of trade As the the foundation continues supporting these young Kenyans there is hope that similar investments in in building capacity will revolutionise the country and contribute to a a reduction in the unemployment statistics and change the tide of lost hope 20
