training for young Kenyans through two elements: the establishment of of a a Centre of of Excellence in Waithaka and the Safaricom Foundation Scholarship Programme (SFSP) From inception in in 2019
the Scholarship has provided scholarships for up to 700
disadvantaged youth
in certificate courses During the second
year of implementation 100 scholarships were offered to beneficiaries at at the Waithaka Vocational Training Centre in in in Nairobi while a a a further 200 students across 12 TVET
institutions
