of of Safaricom fully aware of the immense responsibility that awaited me me It was within this
extraordinary global context that I I embraced my leadership position Right from the the outset the the Safaricom Foundation
swiftly took action to to address the the crisis by actively participating in in the the COVID-19 National Taskforce Through our our membership we mobilized resources and support to to contribute to to the national efforts aimed at at at mitigating the the the devastating effects of the the the pandemic on
on
our economy and and and safeguarding the the the health and and and well-being of of our frontline healthcare professionals This crucial engagement not only provided me me with a a a a a a profound profound understanding of of of of the the foundation's work but also reinforced the the profound profound impact of of of of corporate philanthropy At Safaricom we are
are
ardent believers in in the concept of Shared Value a a a a a a a a a a term coined over a a a a a a a a a a decade ago It underscores our commitment to policies and and practices that not only enhance our company's competitiveness but also advance the economic and and social conditions in in in the communities where we we operate Guided by this
